Michelle Lazaro is a big name when it comes to hospitality industry in the Philippines. She is the Corporate Secretary of Tiger Resorts, Leisure and Entertainment Inc. (TRLEI), which is also the parent company of the Okada Manila resorts.
Michelle’s role at Tiger Resorts is to oversee the important aspects such as the compliance adherence, corporate governance, seamless company operations, and alignment to company’s vision.
Michelle is the daughter of late Manuel “Lolong” Lazaro and many people don’t know this. Manuel Lazaro was the former Okada Manila chairman who passed away in 2022. He was 87 years old. Manuel is one of the most highly respected individuals in the Tiger Resorts and Okada Manila. His work for Okada Manila was nothing short of remarkability. During the pandemic time, Manuel Lazaro took over the responsibility to take Okada Manila through these challenging and tough times. His legendary vision and the endless knack for mission accomplishment, contributed big time when it comes to company’s growth. Within the company, he is lauded as “an inspiration to many,” and is attributed as a visionary leader.
When it comes to Michelle Lazaro, her career has been full of achievements and currently she has a big role at Tiger Resorts.
